Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various commercial and residential settings throughout the city. Electrical Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, distribution panels, and fixtures. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety codes and regulations. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment. Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory used for electrical tasks. Record maintenance and repair activities as required. Driving Responsibilities: Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials, tools, and personnel to various sites. Ensure vehicle cleanliness, upkeep, and perform daily vehicle checks (oil, water, tire pressure, etc.). Maintain accurate logbooks for mileage and fuel usage. Follow all traffic and safety regulations. Assist with loading and unloading electrical equipment and materials. Qualifications Diploma or ITI in Electrical required Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Electrician in a similar capacity Valid UAE Driving License Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing various electrical systems Strong ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints Expert knowledge of National Electrical Code, UAE electrical regulations, and local building codes Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices Familiarity with heating and air conditioning systems as they relate to electrical work Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in the electrical field Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and work schedules Physical stamina to perform the demands of the job Business Line: Consulting and Operations Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: OnM Operations Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Operations and Maintenance - Operational
