POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team, specializing in the assembly, wiring, testing, and installation of electrical control panels. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of electrical systems, the ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics, and hands-on experience in both panel manufacturing and field installations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship or equivalent certification.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components, wiring methods, and safe work practices.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and automation systems is considered an asset.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

    Pay: £19.50-£21.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels in accordance with schematics, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical panels and related systems.
  • Accurately route, terminate, and label wiring in a neat and organized manner.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and internal quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers and supervisors to meet project design and installation requirements.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and uphold a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
