EXPERIENCE

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
• Completed an OH&S induction White Card preferred or be willing to obtain.
• Forklift, EWP and Working at heights preferred or be willing to obtain.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Transformer experience is highly regarded and experience in the mining sector is preferred but not essential.
• Experience using hand/power tools is required.

Excess Power Equipment (EPE) is a leading supplier of Australian power distribution equipment.
Our operation, based in Maddington, provides consultation, design, procurement, construction and maintenance of specialist high voltage equipment.

THE ROLE

We require an Electrician for immediate start at our site in Maddington, the role is workshop based with site work (FIFO / DIDO) on an occasional basis (Maximum of 1 week a month). The role will be responsible for:

• Repair, refurbishment and assessment of HV transformers.
• Construction, testing and assessment of HV & LV distribution equipment such as kiosks, switchboards, bunded transformer solutions and RMU stands.
• Repair, maintenance and assessment of HV equipment, when required on site.
