Here’s how you’ll be a part of our team Attractive hourly rates + Penalty rates on overtime Permanent full-time position Monday to Friday roster, some calls outs required Based in Brisbane Metro, as a Field Service Electrician, you will service and maintain a wide range of electrical plant and equipment on customer sites and respond promptly to equipment breakdowns. Your typical day will focus on: Demonstrate Safety Leadership by leading and contributing to Coates Hire’s Safety First - Zero Harm safety culture Carry out electrical calibrations on equipment as required Repair equipment following accepted trade practices Respond promptly to all equipment breakdowns Keep customers notified and up-to-date with equipment service requirements. Maintain and develop sound and co-operative working relationships with both existing and potential customers. Assist in maintaining correct levels of required electrical stocks of spare parts Electronically manage all service information Maintain service repair paper work Undertake electrical fault finding and diagnostics across a variety of equipment; rectify faults as required Working on all customers sites, including tunnel sites What you’ll bring to the role:The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the highest commitment to safety and customer service and possess the following: Trade qualification Electrical licence Power Generation experience ideal but not essential Sound electrical knowledge Strong troubleshooting and preventative electrical maintenance skills A proven history with equipment hire product range Intermediate computer skills Excellent communication skills Current QLD Drivers Licence Diversity and inclusion are at the heart of our culture.
