OVERVIEW

We are seeking skilled Electricians to work on various projects across the Central Belt and in Ayrshire.
The ideal candidate will have 18th Edition ECS and SPEN Competent Person. Job duties are installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within Scottish Power Substations. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Electrician will ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read technical documents and diagrams effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred.
  • A valid driver’s licence may be required for travel between job sites.
