Description In this role you will perform maintenance, PMs, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate various production, process, and instrumentation controls including building services. You will also identify and implement recommendations to improve equipment and facility performance while assuring proper operation, accuracy, and documentation of equipment and instrumentation. Your role will help to minimize downtime and to meet product and process requirements along the way. You will communicate technical information to others and adhere to all plant safety rules, quality guidelines, and documentation requirements. Requirements Required Skillset and Abilities • Basic computer skills, Word, Excel, and Outlook to name a few. • Understanding of low voltage controls. • Understanding of analog controls and PID loops. • Understanding of the operation and maintenance of power transmission systems such as gearboxes, motors, conveyors, and material handling equipment. • Understanding of electrical prints, symbols, and safe testing methods of electrical systems. • Standard industrial physical abilities required. Preferred Skillset and Abilities • Experience with PLCs. • Experience with servo and inverter drives. • Experience with communication networks such as Profibus, Profinet, and or Modbus. • 5 years of facility electrical experience or electro-mechanical experience. • Washington State electrical card.
