OUR OPPORTUNITY

Work Location: Fortescue’s Iron Bridge project is located on the traditional lands of the Nyamal people.
Roster: 7D7N14R – FIFO ex Perth
We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team, supporting the safe and efficient operation of our Ore Processing Facility (OPF). This role is responsible for breakdown and preventative maintenance across a range of fixed plant assets, ensuring reliability and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Australian Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Current WA ‘A’ Class Electrical Workers Licence
  • Current C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Proven experience in maintaining fixed plant within a mining environment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, isolation, and permitting systems
  • Practical experience with Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)
  • High regard for safety and commitment to best practice standards

Responsibilities
  • Carry out breakdown and preventative maintenance on OPF assets
  • Perform daily inspections, repairs, and servicing of fixed plant equipment
  • Complete diagnostics and fault finding on electrical systems
  • Scope and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Raise notifications and work orders in line with maintenance systems
  • Undertake modular and shutdown maintenance activities
  • Conduct statutory testing and inspections
  • Work in compliance with AS3000, Work Health Regulations and Acts
