Facility Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Location Fayetteville, North Carolina Department Engineering Job Family Service Work Shift Days (United States of America) Summary Under general supervision installs, maintains and repairs equipment and systems for the storage, transmission, distribution, control, utilization and conservation of electrical energy.At least five years of Electrical Maintenance related experience. Holder of an Electrician's License desirable. Must possess a valid North Carolina driver’s license. Minimum of five years related experience in an institutional environment. Contacts with employees, patients, visitors, vendors, construction contractors.Ability to move throughout the Medical Center. Visual acuity for reviewing written reports. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs for access to construction areas. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Exposed to temperature extremes from boiler room to air-conditioned areas. Work in areas of high tool noise levels. Exposure to high-speed cutting tools, electrical wires and equipment, sealing agents, adhesives and demolition debris. Work near machinery and resultant dust of construction.
