Description: Join our dedicated Facilities Management team as a full-time Electrician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining safe and efficient electrical systems across all areas of the hospital and affiliated offsite locations. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with opportunities for overtime and occasional on-call responsibilities, supporting critical healthcare operations in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Inspect, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment across hospital sites. Communicate effectively with the Maintenance & Operations team to support hospital operations. Demonstrate competency in technical skills and procedures as required by UPMC Washington standards. Adhere to hospital policies, safety regulations, and external accreditation requirements. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines in all work-related activities. Document work accurately using established protocols and electronic systems. Participate in departmental meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with staff, patients, and families to support patient-centered care. Contribute to process improvement efforts and service excellence initiatives. Support onboarding of new staff and foster positive working relationships across departments. Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7AM. - 3:30PM. There will be some local travel between sites. Must be able to work other shifts/days, if needed at times. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Journeyman Electrician (served as apprenticeship) or Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Trade School Graduate required. Three (3) years' experience as an electrician in Industrial, Institutional, or Construction work activities required. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Valid driver's license required without any MVR Violations during recent time period specified by UPMC Washington automobile insurance carrier Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Driver's License Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal Act 33 with renewal Act 34 with renewal Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
