Description

Position: Machine Tool Electrician Schedule: Day Shift and Night Shift, 8-10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week. Location: Auburn Hills, MI We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Tool Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision, performing a wide range of electrical tasks in a machine tool manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical wiring of machinery and control panels from schematics and bill of materials Wire and install: Communication blocks and Ethernet systems Auxiliary power, robots, and safety circuits 480V and 24V electrical systems Tie in tools and complete final dressing to controls Install temporary power and bend/install conduit Prepare tools with I/O blocks, DeviceNet, cable trays, and duct work Verify, tag, and run cords per customer and job specifications Perform electrical inspections using standard checklists Follow manufacturing instructions and communicate effectively with leadership and other skilled trades

Responsibilities

Perform electrical wiring of machinery and control panels based on schematics and bills of materials. Install communication systems, power circuits, and conduit while conducting final electrical inspections.
