Job Advertisement – Electrical Contractor (Edinburgh, Social Housing)
We are seeking an experienced and reliable electrician to join our team for ongoing work in social housing across Edinburgh.
Role Overview:
Carry out EICRs day in occupied social housing properties.
Complete simple remedial works on the same day where possible.
Return to properties for larger remedial works when required.
Use a dedicated app to log photos and reports for the client.
Check and replace smoke alarms if they are nearing expiry.
Requirements:
Must be CIS registered.
Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship.
Hold City & Guilds 2391 (Testing & Inspection) or equivalent.
Have your own vehicle and tools (tester and laptop provided).
Rates of Pay:
£200 -£250 per day
Plus £60 per week fuel allowance.
Contract Details:
Start Date: In the next few weeks.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday.
Payment: Weekly (CIS).
Length: Until Christmas, with the possibility of extension into a longer-term contract.
