JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both industrial and commercial electrical work, demonstrating proficiency with various tools and equipment. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards. The Electrician will work on construction sites and be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations are performed safely and efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as an Electrician in both industrial and commercial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage, low voltage, and NEC standards.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other relevant equipment.
  • Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols.
  • Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and local codes during all electrical installations.
  • Perform high voltage and low voltage wiring tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
