Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety protocols, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical issues efficiently.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: High school diploma and Bachelor’s degree. Completion of an apprenticeship or technical training program in electrical systems. Certificates in domain.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid electrician’s license (specific to region), OSHA certifications, or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, experience with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment, ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces, heights, and outdoor environments, and lift heavy equipment when necessary.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

Responsibilities
  • Installation & Maintenance: Install electrical wiring, circuits, and equipment in new or existing buildings, as well as maintain and repair electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment, such as multimeters and voltage testers, and provide solutions to ensure the safe and proper operation of systems.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance are performed according to local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.
  • System Upgrades: Perform system upgrades and recommend improvements to enhance electrical performance and energy efficiency.
  • Inspection & Testing: Conduct regular inspections and tests of electrical systems, identifying potential issues and proactively addressing them before they cause problems.
  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, solutions, and maintenance needs. Provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including electrical tests, inspections, repairs, and upgrades.
