SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A-Grade Electrical Licence (minimum 2 years post-trade)
  • Clean and valid Driver’s Licence.
  • White Card.
  • Solar Installation Accreditation (desirable but not essential)
  • Split Air Conditioning Ticket (desirable but not essential).
  • Scissor Lift Ticket (desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced A-Grade Electrician to join our team servicing residential and commercial properties in Perth.
This is a full-time role where you’ll work independently, taking charge of electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations. You’ll also mentor an Apprentice, so leadership and training skills are essential.

Your work will include:

  • Electrical services for high-end residential properties.
  • Installation and maintenance of solar systems.
  • Ongoing electrical maintenance for aged care facilities.
  • Examining blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operation.
  • Measuring and laying out installation reference points.
  • Selecting, cutting and connecting wire and cable to terminals and connectors.
  • Using electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faults.
  • Repairing and replacing faulty wiring and defective parts.
  • Installing electrical switchboards and connecting electrical systems to power supply.
  • Testing continuity of circuit.
  • Installing, testing and adjusting electric and mechanical parts of lifts.
  • Installing, testing and commissioning solar photo voltaic (PV) power generation systems

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have at least 2 years of post-trade experience in residential electrical work.

  • Are confident working independently and take ownership of your tasks.
  • Enjoy mentoring apprentices and sharing your knowledge.

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
