REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in commercial maintenance
  • Trade qualifications - completion of an HVAC and electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Current ARCtick Licence
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and relevant safety codes
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Current White Card
  • Comfortable using software on a smartphone or tablet
  • National police check and medical assessment will be required as part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As part of our national regional expansion, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrician / HVAC Technician to join our new team based in Cairns, Tropical North Queensland.
Service is at the heart of everything we do, and for the past 14 years, Modus has proudly delivered high-quality services nationwide. Following our recent regional expansion, we are excited to continue building on this success by strengthening our presence and supporting the area.
In this position, you will be the primary contact for both preventative and reactive Electrical, HVAC and Refrigeration services for our commercial clients. You will have the opportunity to engage with the local community and ensure that all work adheres to high standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform urgent, routine, and ad-hoc maintenance, repairs, and inspections across various commercial sites, including Retail, Banking, Government, and Petroleum.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build positive client relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and safety documentation.
