Description

We are a small family run award winning construction business working in the Sheffield area. Due to retirement of our current electrician we are looking for a qualified electrician who also has a Solar PV accreditation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician looking for a secure part time role within a well established business.
Approx 24 -32 hours per week negotiable

Key Responsibilities

  • Install Solar PV systems and associated electrical infrastructure. Diagnose and resolve faulty PV systems. Inverter replacements.
  • Carry out domestic electrical work including new installations to refurbishement properties, extension & altertaions.
  • Ensure compliance with 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, UK building regulations and DNO requirements

What Were Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years electrical experience (domestic focus preferred)
  • 18th Edition/2391 qualification essential
  • MCS approved Solar PV training qualification essential
  • Knowledge of domestic electrical installations and safety procedures
  • Ability to fault find and troubleshoot effectively
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Solar PV installation experience essential
  • Technology literate sufficient to set up solar PV systems and complete installation certifications.
  • Maintain up to date awareness of electrical industry developments

Salary & Benefits

  • £45,000 per year (pro rata) reviewed annually
