Maritime Paper Products is looking for a Red Seal Industrial Electrician to join the team in the Dartmouth facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Electrician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of industrial equipment, as well as preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. What You Will Be Doing: * Maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery * Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions * Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure continuous, reliable operation * Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs, noting any issues or equipment conditions that require attention * Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) What You Will Bring: * Red Seal, Licensed Industrial Electrician * Experience working in a manufacturing environment * Experience working with AC/DC drives, PLC and motor control circuits * Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical skills * A mechanical background in the field of hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication will be considered an asset * An excellent safety and attendance record and willing to work overtime, as needed * Must be legally entitled to work in Canada * Ability to work shift work and overtime as needed For 93 years, Maritime Paper Products LP has been at the forefront of corrugated manufacturing, earning recognition as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies.
