With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome an Electrician (Journeyman) to join our dynamic team. Scope of Role: The Electrician (Journeyman) is responsible for performing skilled electrical work in the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in a commercial environment, in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical theory, blueprints, and wiring diagrams, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Job Responsibilities: Plan and implement electrical projects from start to finish according to specifications and code Troubleshoot, repair, and install AC and DC circuits of various voltages, power distribution systems, fire detection/suppression systems, HVAC systems, VFD’s and Programmable Logic Controllers, motor controllers, lighting systems, and controls Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment Ensure all work is completed on time and within budget Maintain PMs and WOs for all areas of responsibility using the facility’s CMMS system Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on electrical projects Requirements Must have at least four (4) years of relevant work experience Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all applicable codes and standards Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments and at various heights Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria Shift: 6:00am – 2:30 pm, 10:00pm - 6:30am. Days off to be Determined. Compensation: Based on experience, medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k.
