Jardeg is recruiting for a Local Journeyperson Electrician to join the Cenovus Lloydminster team. Shift schedule will be 4 days on, 3 days off for 10 hours a day.

Responsibilities:

  • Experienced electrician journeyperson with skills and ablility to lead team of journeypersons and apprentices.Assiging daily tasks and performing front line supervision for a crew of 8 to 12 workers.
  • Conduct daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections and complete follow-up activities.Complete daily activity reports/daily logs and submit to Supervisor.
  • Promote and ensure the FLRA (Field Level Risk Assessment) process is conducted before every task with the crew.Review weekly servicing and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Reports back to the clients and/or the Project Manager on the progress of the job, the estimated time to completion and employee evaluations.
  • Ensure all new hires/transfers receive required orientations. Attend and participate in site specific orientations.
  • Ensure adequate and suitable safety equipment, including PPE, is supplied, readily accessible, properly used and maintained.
