We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team at Oakes Power Services Ltd. This role is essential in delivering high-quality electrical services across various projects, contributing to our commitment to excellence in the electrical engineering field.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Job Purpose: To carry out the installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and repair of LV and HV electrical systems in accordance with statutory regulations and internal standards. * Take part in company call out rota.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installation of LV/HV panels, control wiring, earthing systems, and switchgear.
• Conduct insulation resistance, continuity, RCD, loop impedance, and functional tests as required.
• Diagnose faults and undertake corrective maintenance across sites.
• Support commissioning activities including test documentation and panel checks.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with BS 7671 and company procedures.
• Accurately complete electrical installation and test certificates. * Liaise with supervisors, engineers, and clients on-site to support timely project delivery.
• Maintain tools and test equipment to a high standard.

Qualifications & Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• AM2
• JIB Electrician Gold card (preferred) * City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing (desirable)
• Understanding of LV and HV systems and safe working practices
• Previous experience in utilities, DNO/IDNO, or commercial infrastructure projects
• Full UK driving license
