Description The Electrician position will assist technical teams of detailers, designers and engineers to create world class detail on a variety of projects. The position will help complete many tasks including prewiring containers with lights and switches, and running wires to pumps, motors and generators. Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations. Reading different types of schematics and P&ID’s Recording materials that are used on the job. Commercial/ industrial experience Bending and installing conduit ranging from sizes 1/2'” to 4” Terminating a variety of wire styles and sizes in panels. Requirements High school diploma Valid current state/local electrical license (Preferred) Two years of trade school or related experience (Preferred) Two years of experience as an electrician in a similar-sized institution in an engineering or maintenance occupation. Working knowledge of local, state and the National Electric Code (NEC). Knowledge of AC and DC wiring is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in collaborative team environment. Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Demonstrated leadership skills. Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field.
