Job Description Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, control panels, and outlets. Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. Repair or replace defective components such as circuit breakers, switches, wiring, or motors. Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety and regulatory standards. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms, public areas, and other departments Support the Engineering team during power outages, generator operations, and emergency repairs Assist with the maintenance of resort utilities such as generators, desalination plants, sewage treatment systems, and lighting networks Work closely with other trades (plumbing, HVAC, mechanical) to ensure coordinated maintenance activities. Assist in new installations, upgrades, and renovations involving electrical systems and equipment Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals. Install electrical systems for new villas, staff accommodations, or back-of-house facilities as required. Follow all safety procedures and ensure proper use of tools and protective equipment. Maintain a clean and organized workshop and work environment. Report any unsafe conditions, faulty equipment, or potential hazards immediately. Adhere to resort and government electrical standards and regulations. Qualifications 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a five-star luxury Hotel / Resort. Must have the appropriate documented training from a technical/vocational institute. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. Able to communicate in English. Team Player Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holiday
