As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. ---------------------------------------- Role Summary: The Electrician will repair and maintain all hotel electrical systems and install additional electrical devices and portable power set-ups. The ideal candidate will exemplify the philosophy and mission of Eau Resort & Spa. We have a full-time position available. This role is a flexible position (AM / PM), and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. Work Schedule Needed: Sunday - Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Essential Qualifications: * High school graduate or G.E.D. and vocational/technical background. * 2+ years commercial electrical experience. * Knowledge of electrical codes. * Ability to communicate in English with hotel guests, visitors and staff to their understanding. * Ability to provide legible communication. * Ability to compute mathematical calculations. Desirable: * Mechanical experience. * State, County and City licenses. * Basic electrical troubleshooting experience. * Hands-on electrical apprenticeship. * 2+ years hotel engineering/maintenance experience. Essential Skills: * Ability to read and understand blueprints. * Ability to properly use electrical testing equipment. * Knowledge of Volt/AMP/WATT formulas. * Ability to safely and properly use hand and power tools. * Ability to climb ladders and use people lifts. * Ability to crawl into ceilings and over and under equipment. * Knowledge of wiring, conduit and controls, P.M. motors and breakers. * Understanding of high-low voltage systems. * Ability to work cohesively as a team member. * Ability to work in and around the public in a positive and professional manner.
