Description

Role Overview
We are seeking experienced and reliable New Build Electricians to join our team on new housing and apartment developments. The role involves carrying out full electrical installations across all stages of construction, including 1st fix, 2nd fix, finals, and testing/commissioning in line with current regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete 1st fix installation.
  • Carry out 2nd fix installation.
  • Complete finals, ensuring all installations are finished to a high standard and ready for handover.
  • Conduct testing, inspection, and certification of electrical installations to BS 7671 standards.
  • Work in line with site programmes and deadlines, maintaining productivity levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures, company policies, and site rules.
  • Report progress, issues, and completed works to the site supervisor or contracts manager.
  • Maintain a professional approach with site teams, contractors, and clients.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
  • Valid ECS/CSCS card.
  • Experience working on new build housing developments (essential).
  • Own tools, PPE, and transport.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to provide testing certification (2391 or equivalent desirable).

Pay & Benefits
