We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to help us maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors at Torbay Hospital.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Level 3 BTEC/City & Guilds/apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering OR equivalent industry training.
· Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and multi-skilled trades.
· Strong awareness of electrical/mechanical safety, asbestos, and water safety.
· IT literacy and experience with control systems.
· Valid UK driving licence.

· Perform planned and reactive maintenance across the Trust estate, working closely with other trades.
· Ensure all electrical systems and equipment are compliant, safe, and operational.
· Respond to emergency call-outs and participate in the on-call rota.
· Embrace a varied, hands-on role — no two days are the same!
· Reat work life balance working a 4-day week (Mon–Fri) on a rolling schedule (7:15am–6:00pm shifts).
· Be flexible with shift times to meet clinical service needs.
