YOU’LL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

· NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
· Experience in electrical maintenance and installation
· Knowledge of air conditioning, ventilation, generators, and heating systems
· Ability to read and understand technical drawings
· Strong problem-solving skills for fault-finding and repairs
· Commitment to health & safety standards
· Full UK driving licence (preferred)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Craftsperson (Electrical) to join our Estates & Facilities team at Nottingham University Hospitals. This role is crucial in ensuring the maintenance, repair, and installation of essential electrical systems within our healthcare environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform electrical installations of plant and services, including wiring ballasts
· Conduct fault-finding and repairs on heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation systems
· Carry out planned preventative maintenance and inspections
· Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and Trust policies
· Maintain workshops, stores, boiler rooms, and plant areas to high standards
· Identify and order necessary stock and materials
· Operate and maintain tools, PPE, and work equipment
· Use PDA systems to log completed jobs and test results
