POSITION SUMMARY

Our Plant Electrician role is responsible for the installation, diagnosis and repair of plant equipment and electrical systems, including predictive and scheduled preventative maintenance. Qualified candidates must possess a valid electrical license issued from the State of Oregon or the ability to obtain a license within 60 days of employment. This position has Day Shift and Swing Shift openings.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license, Plant Journeyman (PJ), General Journeyman (J), or higher.
  • Knowledge of electrical installation and safety standards in adherence with NFPA 70 and 70E.
  • Able to utilize and interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder diagrams, and engineering specifications to determine work and troubleshooting procedures.
  • A team-oriented mindset; willingness and ability to take on other functional roles in the facility as needed.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge of VFDs, PLCs, and manipulating parameters and machine functions via HMIs.
  • Experience with high-speed packaging machinery, robotic cells, and servo drives.
  • Basic knowledge and troubleshooting common industrial communication networks and protocols.
  • Process instrumentation and sensor testing, calibration, and troubleshooting.
