This focus allows us to be involved in a diverse range of projects from preliminary engineering through to the commissioning and startup. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Red Seal certified Journeyman Electrician to join our Fabrication & Construction services team on a full-time basis. Position Overview Phasor Engineering Inc. is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Electrician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support construction, installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities for industrial, utility, and substation projects. This role involves working on medium- and high-voltage systems and collaborating closely with engineers, technologists, and field teams. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment Perform wiring, conduit installation, cable tray installation, and terminations Assist with substation construction and electrical infrastructure projects Support protection & control panel installations and field wiring Conduct testing and verification of electrical systems Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications Ensure compliance with company safety standards and electrical codes Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and commissioning teams Maintain accurate documentation of work performed Qualifications Journeyman Electrician certification with Red Seal Certification Experience in industrial, utility, or substation environments preferred Familiarity with medium- and high-voltage systems is an asset Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety practices Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Assets Experience with transmission & distribution projects Substation construction or commissioning experience Fall protection, first aid, and safety certifications Experience working in energized environments Typical shifts will range from 4/3, 8/6, 10/4, and 14/7. Working hours are generally from 7am - 5:30pm at 10hrs/day. Daily work hours and shifts are subject to change based on project requirements, applicants must be flexible to accommodate these changes when required.
