Salary: AED 1,200 – AED 1,700 (depending on experience)

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking skilled Electricians to join our construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with electrical installations, wiring, troubleshooting, and site coordination.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Electrician in building construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
  • Familiarity with DEWA standards and UAE electrical codes preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of safety practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Electrical Installations
  • Perform installation of conduits, wiring, switches, sockets, lighting, and distribution boards.
  • Install LV panels, earthing systems, and small power works as per drawings.
  • Drawing Interpretation
  • Read and interpret electrical and MEP drawings.
  • Follow authority-approved shop drawings and site instructions.
  • Testing & Commissioning
  • Conduct insulation resistance, continuity, and functional tests.
  • Assist in the commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Maintenance & Repairs
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on site.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on installed systems.
  • Coordination
  • Work with supervisors, engineers, and other trades (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) for proper sequencing.
  • Ensure compliance with site schedules.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Ensure installations meet DEWA and local authority standards.
  • Check compliance with safety codes and specifications.
  • Safety Compliance
  • Follow site HSE policies and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Ensure safe use of ladders, power tools, and testing devices.
  • Tools & Material Management
  • Properly use, maintain, and store hand tools, testers, and power tools.
  • Report material shortages or damaged tools.
  • Problem Solving
  • Identify site conflicts or design mismatches and report to the supervisor.
  • Suggest corrective actions within approval limits.
  • Reporting
  • Record daily progress of electrical works.
  • Notify the site supervisor of material or manpower requirements in advance.
