Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrician to join Service Stream in our Epping office.
About the Role
Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking an Electrician to join our growing company.
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Epping, VIC
Reporting Line: Project Manager
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to assets and its processes including:

  • Response to and rectification of equipment failure
  • Fault finding of Electrical Motors and drives
  • Basic maintenance tasks to remedy faults
  • Installation and augmentation of assets/plant/installations.
  • Maintenance and Fault finding of assets/plant/installations.
  • Carry out Programmed Maintenance & capital work
  • Respond to alarms
  • Commissioning & de-commissioning of assets/plant/installations
  • Provide technical support to engineering
  • Carry out other technical tasks as delegated by the M&E Manager.
  • Comply with all state and federal legislation and regulations related to Safety
  • Provide leadership to ensure the highest standard of safety is always maintained for all stakeholders.
  • Ensure all Service Stream safety processes and procedures are adhered to.
  • Actively participate in all site safety initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance to the contract’s safety by participating in regular audits and reviews of the system.
  • Conduct business to the highest standard and in line with core values.
  • Code of conduct, vision, expected behaviours, policies, and procedure.
  • Lead by example and take accountability for own actions.
  • Interact with others in a collaborative and constructive manner.
  • Demonstrate strengths in areas of team performance and dynamics, client services, EHS and quality.
  • Maintain open and proactive communications with client liaising with the client regarding operational activities
  • Meet KPIs line with contract

About You

  • Trade Certificate A Grade Electrical
  • Current Driver’s License.
  • Forklift Licence (Desirable)
  • White Card
  • Dogman (Desirable)
  • Working At Heights
  • Participate in a call out/ on call roster
  • Sound knowledge of computer maintenance management systems
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge of SCADA
  • Experience in working to s strict set of quality systems
  • Capable of inspection, testing, adjustment and repairs of electrical plant equipment
  • Motor control skills in fault finding
