Description
Position Summary The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in modular buildings, man camps, trailers, generators, HVAC systems, and other temporary field structures used in oilfield operations. This role supports both shop operations and remote job sites, ensuring all equipment meets company standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform electrical installation and repairs on modular buildings, living quarters, office trailers, and related field accommodations. * Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues involving lighting, power distribution, HVAC controls, generators, outlets, breakers, and wiring. * Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems across our rental fleet. * Complete electrical tie-ins during field deployments and demobilizations. * Ensure compliance with NEC, company safety standards, and customer site requirements. * Collaborate with mechanics, HVAC techs, and field supervisors to support equipment readiness. * Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, and job documentation. * Assist in shop wiring, equipment refurbishments, and asset rebuild projects. * Safely operate tools, lifts, and test equipment required to perform electrical work. * Participate in on‑call rotation as required for urgent customer needs. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS * High school diploma or GED required. * State-licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician (preferred but requirements vary—can be tailored). * Minimum 2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, construction, industrial, or oilfield environments. * Experience with modular buildings, generators, and temporary power systems is highly desirable. * Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA safety standards, and lockout/tagout procedures. * Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics. * Must be able to travel to field sites, sometimes on short notice. * Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, work in outdoor environments, and safely handle physical tasks. * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. * Stallion enforces a drug free workforce PREFERRED SKILLS * Experience in oilfield services or remote workforce accommodations. * Knowledge of HVAC electrical controls. * Familiarity with trailer-mounted or skid-mounted equipment. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. * Excellent communication and customer-service skills.   Stallion Infrastructure Services is an equal opportunity employer.  All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
