TEMPORARY SITE SERVICES GOLD CARD ELECTRICIAN
Day rate of £220 – £240 per day (self-employed) depending on experience and qualifications. To the right person in the right location a company van can be provided.
FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT CAN BE DISCUSSED IF IT BENEFITS BOTH PARTIES
Due to a planned expansion of work within our Temporary Site Services Division, Panthera Group is looking for an electrician to work predominately in and around London, there are some live projects based a little further afield where travel will be paid for.
Panthera Group is experiencing an incredible growth, and this would be an exciting time to join our team.
Applicants will be required to work both independently, and within a team to carry out works. Every day will offer different challenges with works either being based on one site for a period of time or moving from site to site carrying out smaller works or dealing with call outs.
A great deal of the work will involve setting up temporary RCD protected site mains, installing temporary distribution panels, site transformers, supplies to tower cranes and hoists as well the 110V site safety LED lighting.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS:
· ECS/JIB Gold Card
· A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified electrician unless you trained within the site temporary industry
· Experience working in the temporary electrical industry would be advantageous, although not essential
We believe that the required works would be picked up relatively quickly by a competent and confident qualified electrician. A successful applicant would initially be paired up with an electrician to ensure that they understand the role.
EXPERIENCE:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meeting the site team on site and working with them to assess the best way to carry out the required works within the remit of the priced scope.
Working in a safe manner to complete the works within a time frame.
Being able to solve problems, fault find and carry out emergency call outs where getting power restored to site will be a priority.
Filling out paper work at the end of each job so the works can be accurately charged for.
