JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work with various power and hand tools. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure safe and efficient electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • 2391/2395 Inspection & Testing preferred
  • Central Heating wiring knowledge (highly desirable)
    Overtime/call out available at premium rate.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical installation and maintenance work in domestic and commercial properties.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and codes during all work activities.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, operations and administration team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Produce NICEIC Certification and relevant paperwork
