He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role Based at our Mangere Wastewater Treatment plant, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join the Watercare team. Your key roles and responsibilities will include: Providing planned preventative, planned corrective and emergency maintenance services in an industrial environment. Installation of new appliances and equipment and upgrade existing electrical systems. Performing fault diagnosis and repair on electrical systems A good understanding of electrical drawings and ability to mark-up drawings as and when required. Provide support to the engineering team when required. You will be an excellent communicator, engaging with a high standard of customer service as you will be dealing and working with our contractors and fellow employees of the Watercare team. Ngā pūkenga e rapu nei mātou | About you To be considered for this role you will: Be an Electrician holding Trade Certificate or Electrical Engineering level 4 qualification or have an Advanced Trade Certificate, NZCE, Electrical Engineering level 5 or equivalent Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years industrial experience preferably within the Water/Wastewater industry. Experience working with large continuous liquids and solids process would be an advantage. Hold a NZ Electrical Registration with a current NZ Electrical Practicing License A strong commitment to comply with Health and Safety standards.
