Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The candidate must be a min of 3rd or 4th year apprentice. This role requires expertise in both low voltage and industrial electrical work, as well as proficiency with hand and power tools. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings in water treatment , ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Duties

  • Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to install electrical systems accurately.
  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local codes and safety regulations.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks associated with electrical work.
  • Collaborate with other water treatment professionals to complete projects efficiently.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of construction practices related to electrical installations is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve project goals.
