Electrical Engineer – London and Home Counties

We’re looking for an experienced electrician to join our team

• BS 7671 18th Edition qualified
• Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391) qualified
• Self-Employed contractor status
• CSCS Card
• Min. of 40 hours availability required per week
• PAT Testing Certified

We book thousands of jobs for residential property owners every month. We also work with several well-known commercial clients across all types of businesses.
We specialise in reactive, hourly rate work and follow-up, remedial work. Which we do 24/7, 365 days a year.

You’ll be provided with confirmed bookings on a constant basis. You’ll earn for your time on-site, plus time for parts/materials collection.

Typical bookings include:

• EICRs
• Fault finding and repairs
• Minor works
• New installations

Clear communication with customers is essential. You’ll be expected to provide reassurance by explaining the work you’ll do for them and sharing your knowledge. You’ll also be confident quoting for remedial work. Our bespoke software enables tradespeople to take responsibility for managing their own work rather always relying on office-based support.
You’ll be supported by a field-based Technical Manager as well as a office-based Trade Manager. They’ll provide advice and assistance, and can arrange additional resource on jobs that escalate in size and complexity.
We try to provide electricians with bookings in the same geographic area. However, you’ll be prepared to travel anywhere in and around the M25 but, due to our company expansion we will keep you as close to home as possible. You’ll be required to be on call for cyclical evening and weekend coverage.
