Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE – STAGE 1: ELECTRICIAN + +

In this initial stage, you’ll be part of the VoltEdge technical team and will contribute to the practical aspects of our training operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • General electrical work and handyman tasks.
  • Supporting the practical setup, testing, maintenance, and optimisation of training systems, rigs, and simulation boards.
  • Assisting in workshop preparation and learner practical sessions, ensuring safe and high-quality delivery.
  • Providing technical insights and on-the-ground trade knowledge to enhance training resources and program design.
  • Participating in internal upskilling, shadowing experienced trainers, and assisting in supervised sessions as you develop readiness for Stage 2.

ABOUT THE ROLE – STAGE 2: TRANSITION TO TRAINING

Once you’re ready, you’ll transition into formal training and assessment, with full mentorship and support from our experienced team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing your TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (fully supported by VoltEdge).
  • Delivering accredited electrical training across areas such as HV Switching, Solar Battery Systems, QTP/QBP, and EEHA (depending on your experience).
  • Leading your own classroom and practical sessions, supported by a collaborative team of passionate educators.
