About the Role As an Electrician Apprentice at Z Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, in Chandler, AZ, you will play a key role in supporting electrical installations, repairs, and construction activities across modular building projects. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learns quickly, and is committed to safety, craftsmanship, and working as part of a high-performing team. What You’ll Do Assist electricians by performing tasks under direct supervision to support electrical installations. Organize materials, tools, and equipment to maintain a clean, efficient work environment. Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment. Bend conduit to support electrical routing and installation. Install electrical equipment including switchgear, panels, and starters. Pull and terminate wire to support system functionality. Install light fixtures to ensure proper illumination and compliance with project plans. Install lighting controls and electrical devices across various applications. Troubleshoot electrical systems to support diagnostic and repair activities. Read and comprehend safety rules, policies, and MSDS documentation. Who You Are Transportation to and from work required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to work in all weather conditions as job locations and seasons vary. Ability to maintain required tools at all times. Ability to work from ladders of various types and heights. Ability to perform work at heights up to 90 ft. using ladders, scaffolds, or aerial lifts. Ability to work in restricted spaces such as tunnels, crawl spaces, attics, and switchgear rooms. Ability to wear personal protective equipment including hard hats, safety glasses, and respirators when required. Ability to perform repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers. Ability to work 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with overtime or night shifts as needed. Willingness to apply for and maintain a State of Texas Electrical Apprentice License. Physical Abilities Ability to crawl, stand, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel, sit, and reach. Ability to routinely lift more than 50 lbs. Ability to push and pull materials and equipment. Ability to perform physical work for more than 70% of the workday.
