Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE:

You will be the main point of contact for Electrics Team (South). Carrying out planning and preparation vital tasks and responsibilities, you will also manage the Electrics Planning Co-ordinator through their various activities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

You will:

  • Be the main point of contact for our sub-contracted partners ie; labour, materials, equipment, ensuring excellent relationships are maintained and a high procurement status is maintained at all times.
  • Using Clarity (MIS), complete and obtain data for each show, ensuring correct information is utilised and updated promptly. Work closely with the Electrical Planning Co-ordinator and Business Process Manager on this task, reporting any issues.
  • Assess priorities daily (according to show dates) and discuss the daily schedule with the Electrics Team.
  • Update and maintain the Electrics master schedule.
  • Process works orders, and interpret and compile electrical grids.
  • Raise PO’s where necessary, fully reconcile with invoices post show.
  • Book hotels and travel and prepare onsite files for the Electrics delivery team.
  • Assist the wider Planning team where necessary with holiday/absence cover.
  • Offer operational support to colleagues, particularly Clarity. Ensure new staff are assisted with training as required.
  • Provide customer liaison and query resolution, ensuring email queries are replied to promptly, addressing urgent requests.
  • Ensure correct uniform is available and quantities are ready for delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with our Transport colleagues on each event as required – working within parameters of sustainability and efficiency. * * Be instrumental in the introduction of process and change as the Planning team evolves.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position.
