Description
To assemble and/or test components using tools and fixtures and working from manufacturing documentation. Follow work orders, engineering drawings, and visual/written work instructions to assemble electro-mechanical components. Uses machines or hand tools to crimp, stake, bolt rivet, solder, cement, press fit or perform similar operations to secure parts in place. Mount electrical components such as transformers, resistors, capacitors, integrate circuits, etc. Makes a variety of electrical connections using soldering or related bonding procedures. Uses equipment such as multimeters and dielectric machines to in-process test parts during assembly. Assist in resolving production failures or product issues. Identify and initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment Work in a team environment for flow assembly work. Soldering Blueprint reading Measuring with basic instruments As required by manager High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution Minimum six (6) montsh experience in mechanical or electrical assemblies Reside within 50 miles of location (no relocation benefit) US person within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a US person as a US Citizen, US Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refuge Technical School / Apprenticeship preferred Minimum six months blueprint reading Minimum six months soldering experience
