Corvid's Goldbug Manufacturing group is looking to add team members to support the final assembly of Corvid's Goldbug Manufacturing group is looking to add team members to support the final assembly of electronic devices used for safely arming weapon systems. This position will be key contributor to assembling both the sub-systems and final installation of electronic components. You will ensure the finished product meet specified requirements and quality standards. The position will require you to work with blueprints, schematics, standard procedures and technical documentation to assemble, test, and inspect electronic safety and arming products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct component preparation, placement, and mechanical assembly of electronic sub-assemblies followed by installing final electronic components Inspect and test finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications - recommend rework when required Identify the need to and support of intricate, high-reliability soldering and rework on Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assemblies, utilizing both through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions Maintain clean and organized workstations, following safety guidelines and regulations as well as ESD guidelines Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment Qualifications: Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess at least a High School diploma or equivalent Proven experience in electrical or mechanical assembly, with knowledge of assembly techniques and tools Candidates with basic SMT or soldering skills are desired to support rework tasks Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Preferred candidate will have experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., ISO, FDA, AS9100) IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) certification or training as well as experience with SMT Rework or IPC Soldering is a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and work assembly tasks for long periods of time Manual dexterity and the ability to use hand tools effectively Some lifting may be required (no more than 50 pounds) Position may require manufacturing or production floor with exposure to noise and machinery Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection as required About Corvid: Corvid Technologies is an engineering firm specializing in using high-fidelity, computational modeling and simulation to analyze, design, and manufacture products for aerospace, DoD, and commercial customers.
