Description

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler to join an advanced engineering team specializing in cutting-edge High-Power Radio Frequency systems. The successful candidate will work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to support fabrication, assembly, inspection, and testing of electronic systems used across global markets.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate has experience in electronic manufacturing or assembly, with the ability to work with small components and follow detailed technical instructions. You must be comfortable with tasks such as soldering, cable assembly, and using adhesives and tools. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential. You must also be eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods and other security clearances, and a verified criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

As an Electromechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks involved in the kitting, fabrication, assembly, inspection, and testing of high-performance Radio Frequency systems. Your duties will include limited through-hole and surface mount soldering, cable harness assembly, crimping and soldering cable connections, and the use of chemicals, adhesives, and encapsulating compounds. You will work with tools such as soldering irons, crimpers, cable harnessing equipment, and other hand tools. You will interpret and follow technical documentation including drawings, bills of materials, assembly instructions, and wiring diagrams. Additionally, you will align components using templates and fixtures, perform minor part-fitting tasks, measure components against specifications, and monitor product quality. You will also be responsible for documenting issues, contributing to continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring all work meets internal and industry standards. This role requires both independent work and collaboration with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and quality.
