Description Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician II (2nd Shift + Premium Pay) SALT LAKE CITY, UT Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 an hour (DOE) + $1.00 Shift Differential = $28-$30 hr. Schedule: Second Shift (3:00 pm – 12:30 am) with every other Friday off (9/80 schedule) Description At LACO Technologies, you won’t be doing repetitive assembly line work. You’ll build custom leak testing and vacuum systems used by leading aerospace, medical, and advanced technology companies — including customers like SpaceX, Tesla, Apple, Lockheed, Google, and BioFire. Why Technicians Choose LACO Every build is unique – no repetitive production work Flexible schedules with 9/80 option (every other Friday off) Clean, Climate-controlled shop Strong work/life balance culture Collaborative team with direct access to engineering Stable, growing company with industry-leading customers Opportunities to learn and advanced systems and grow your skills What You’ll Do Assemble electro-mechanical systems including control panels, wiring harnesses, and mechanical assemblies Perform point-to-point wiring using schematics and wiring diagrams Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and build documentation Install components such as relays, sensors, power supplies, and control hardware Support system testing, troubleshooting, and validation Use hand tools, crimpers, measurement tools, and diagnostic equipment (multimeters, etc.) Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve build issues Maintain organized work areas and follow quality standards and procedures Contribute to continuous improvement and lean initiatives Requirements What We’re Looking For 3-5 years of electro-mechanical assembly, panel building, or wiring experience Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions Experience with control panel assembly or electrical system builds Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills (ERP or Microsoft Office a plus) Nice to Have: Experience in manufacturing, automation, aerospace, or equipment build environments Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems or testing Familiarity with ISO or quality processes.
