Description

T.E.L. Engineering Ltd require an Electro-Mechanical Fitter/Assembler to work within their assembly environment in Hazel Grove, Stockport. The role would see the successful candidate working to help assemble parts which will make their way around the UK and the rest of the World, primarily for the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Working to schematic and mechanical GA drawings.
  • Liaising with team members, as well as other departments, to ensure the availability of required components.
  • Assemble and test products according to Quality Plans and Certification requirements.
  • Assist with overcoming issues found during product assembly.
  • Comply with the Company policies, procedures and instructions.
  • Comply with the Company Health and Safety procedures.

Required skills:

  • Evidence of training/experience in the electro-mechanical engineering field e.g. NVQ, apprenticeship or equivalent training scheme.
  • Attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to measure and mark-out.
  • Ability to use hand tools safely and correctly.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and diagrams.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Experience of wiring, crimping, looming and soldering.
