The Electro-Mechanical Remote Support Technician is responsible for communicating with customer via phone/email to investigate, troubleshoot, manage and potentially resolve issues and questions related to Aseptic Filling Products; and recording these activities fully and accurately in our CRM system.
This position reports to the Manager, Service, and is part of the Customer Success Group located in Burnaby, BC, and will be ONSITE role five days a week.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • This position requires up to 10% travel. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.

IT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU ALSO POSSESS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN:

  • Experience with computer networking, data acquisition and data historian
  • Understanding of robotics, control systems, and machine operation with hands on experience
  • Programming experience (PLC, Wonderware or FactoryTalk)

    The annual salary range for this role is CAD70,000-CAD80,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
    This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of technical issues on customer systems, research, diagnose, troubleshoot and drive them through to resolution, possibly outside regular business hours, follow standard procedures for escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Identify problem areas and trends, then provide feedback and ideas for improvement
  • Use the service tracking system to provide clear documentation of activities for each support activity with a high level of attention to detail; participate in creating and updating service documentation
