The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 4 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance (specify equipment on your site). Acts as a senior material handling technician on all equipment installed at the Vandalia. OH site location. Aids and mentors lower-level employees. This role will require you to work 4:30 pm to 4:30 am on a rotating Panama shift. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $35 to $39.50 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Do in This Role Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustments, replacements, and lubrication. Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures to ensure our systems run flawlessly. Apply electrical test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve electrical circuitry issues. Build and close work orders in our asset management system, recording labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. Troubleshoot conveyance problems, determining the resources needed to resolve them successfully. Track and manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability for maintenance tasks. Perform complex maintenance and equipment testing to verify they meet world-class specifications. Train customers to operate our sophisticated equipment efficiently. Respond to service calls, correcting equipment failures and faults promptly. Identify and resolve problems as they occur, maintaining our reputation for outstanding service. What We Are Looking For High School diploma or equivalent experience required. Associate’s degree or vocational technical training preferred, with specialized skill training/certification being a plus. Demonstrates senior-level expertise with 5-7 years of experience in a technical or specialty area. Proven track record in the area of responsibility with successful demonstration of key tasks. Strong customer-facing abilities, maintaining professional communication via email and in-person with onsite customer leadership, Dematic leadership, and technicians. Leadership skills to guide projects, manage teams, and advise on day-to-day operations and tasks. Physical capability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, regularly bend, lift, stretch, and reach both below the waist and above the head. Ability to push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds. Able to climb ladders and gangways safely, work in various environments (small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temps), endure noise, vibration, and long periods on concrete.
