JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to support our Hardware and Production team. This is a 3-6 month contract role. This role is hands-on and critical to our test infrastructure, prototyping, and hardware development. The ideal candidate is self-driven, collaborative, and adaptable within a fast-paced startup environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



    • Experience with machining tools (mill, lathe, CNC)

    • Proficiency in 3D CAD/CAMCircuit debugging skills (using multimeters, oscilloscopes)
    • Proficiency in soldering, splicing, and crimping
    • Ability to read datasheets and select appropriate parts
    • Familiarity with PCB schematics and layout reading
    • Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills
    • Effective interpersonal and communication abilities
    • Commitment to quality and deadlines
    • Flexibility to assist beyond core job duties

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (BONUS POINTS)



      • Programming knowledge (Python, C, or scripting languages)

      • Interest in firmware development and debugging
      • Experience in circuit design and microcontroller prototyping (MCU/Arduino)
      • Access to or experience with machine shop equipment
      • Experience with 3D printing, laser cutting, and PCB layout
      Responsibilities


        • Lead the development and maintenance of automated test rigs

        • Lab management and organization
        • Assist in upgrading rigs to improve accuracy and performance
        • Prepare, analyze, and present test results to demonstrate performance metrics
        • Support prototyping of hardware, including electro-mechanical assemblies, fixtures, and test development
