Company Description For one of our French Oil and gas Operator client, we are urgently looking for a Electro-mechanical technician to be based in Lagos during 12 months minium Resident status. Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electro-mechanical technician to join our team in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electro-mechanical systems and equipment in our industrial facility. Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electro-mechanical issues using various diagnostic tools and techniques Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to guide maintenance and repair activities Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in all maintenance and repair operations Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules Respond promptly to emergency repair calls and equipment breakdowns Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in electro-mechanical systems Qualifications Associate's degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field 2-3 years of experience in electro-mechanical maintenance or a related field Proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Excellent troubleshooting, Programming and setting up PLCs In-depth knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and procedures Proficiency in using various diagnostic tools and equipment Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in industrial settings Basic computer skills for data entry and report writing Additional Information FInd the machine types below: Plate / Pipe cutting machines Press machine Horizontal / Vertical boring machines Rolling machines Beam cutting machines Automatic drilling / sawing machines Pipe bending machines Lathe machines
