Location: Foster City, CA Pay: $40.00 per hour Schedule: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) JOB OVERVIEW: We are hiring an Engineering Technician to support assembly, testing, and prototyping of electronic hardware for automotive applications. This role works closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality builds and timely project completion in a fast-paced lab environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assemble and test electronic hardware (prototypes and low-volume builds) Support engineers with product development and process improvements Perform quality inspections and verify work accuracy Conduct final product testing based on procedures Assist with troubleshooting and resolving assembly issues Maintain accurate documentation and communication with teams Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED 3–5 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions Experience using assembly tools (soldering irons, crimpers, cutters, etc.) Strong attention to detail and quality Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.) preferred IPC certifications (IPC-610, IPC-620, J-STD) preferred Experience working in product development or low-volume manufacturing is a plus
