We live in a world that needs to take care of its resources, and our mission at Veolia is to ‘Resource the World’. We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Electro Mechanical Technician to join our Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) in Portsmouth.
As an Electro Mechanical Technician you will be responsible for maintenance tasks, involving electrical and mechanical fault finding, defect rectification and routine maintenance activities across the facility.

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of plant and apparatus including overhead cranes, rotating equipment, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc. With a good understanding of 415 motors, variable speed drives, electrical switchgear.
• Report, diagnose and remedy plant defects in a timely professional manner.
• Propose and develop modifications/improvements to plant/apparatus as appropriate.
• Supervise Company and Contractor staff as appropriate.
• Carry out duties associated with company Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Procedures, including audits. Maintain all work areas in a clean, tidy and safe condition..
• Undertake other duties within the scope and spirit of the job as instructed by Management.
